PORTLAND, Ore. (August 26, 2012) – Former NFL quarterback and Portland-native Joey Harrington, along with amateur teammates Don Antonucci, Kyle Dean, Trent Green and Stacy Nicholson, won Sunday’s Regence Pro-Am with a score of 49-under-par 167.
LPGA Tour pro and Big Break X contestant Amber Prange led her team to second place, followed by the team paired with PGA TOUR pro Jason Gore.

The Umpqua Bank Challenge tournament proper, a best-ball event featuring eight two-person teams, kicks off on Monday, August 27 at 9:00 a.m. with Peter’s Clinic presented by Srixon, held on the 18th green.
Monday’s clinic will feature entertainment by Tournament Host Peter Jacobsen, comedian Matt Griesser and World Long-Drive champion Jamie Sadlowski, as well as the introduction of all sixteen main field professionals. The eight OSAA junior champions competing in this year’s Srixon Junior Challenge will also be in attendance.

Street Team and Social Media Promotions Enhance Fan Experience
A new addition to the 2012 Umpqua Bank Challenge is the Street Team. Consisting of seven student volunteers, aged 14-21, the Street Team will be live tweeting (@UBCStreetTeam), posting on Facebook (facebook.com/petersparty) and posting on Instagram (@petersparty) while on-course for the duration of the tournament. Street Team members will be engaging with fans each day through merchandise giveaways, online photo albums and a social media scavenger hunt, tagged with #UBCGame.
The Umpqua Bank Challenge
The Umpqua Bank Challenge, <http://www.umpquabankchallenge.com>, is a three-day exhibition-style golf tournament set for August 26-28, 2012 at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha, Ore.
