2013 Brings Hiatus for Umpqua Bank Challenge

The Umpqua Bank Challenge will not take place in 2013, instead tournament organizers will take the year to reevaluate in hopes of
creating a more attractive and viable event for the city of Portland
and state of Oregon.
"I'm incredibly proud of both the 2011 and 2012 Umpqua Bank Challenge and Regence Pro-Am events," said Tournament Host Peter Jacobsen. "The FedExCup Playoffs have changed the dynamic of getting top young PGA TOUR pros to Portland in August, so I would like to take some time to reevaluate and determine what type of event, if any, we could have here."
